Jared O’Toole graduated Ithaca College with a finance degree and like so many other business majors he quickly realized corporate life was not a path for him. Instead, he got passionate about entrepreneurship, branding and how companies could leverage new media tools online. This change in heart led him to co-found Under30CEO Media, a network of sites dedicated to inspiring young people with the resources needed to succeed on their journey including Under30CEO, Under30Finance, and Under30Careers. O’Toole has led Under30CEO to features on The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and Yahoo! Finance to name a few. Jared is also a founding partner of the digital marketing firm Shadow Concepts LLC where he works with brands to help them reach and connect with their target audiences online.

Matt Wilson is co-founder of Under30Media the leading community for successful young people in entrepreneurship, personal finances, and careers. After using social media to land Under30CEO on MSNBC and BusinessWeek, he began building brands online including venture backed startups like Zaarly. Wilson’s passion for entrepreneurship began after leading Bryant University to becoming the world’s #1 entrepreneurs’ organization. He has earned personal accolades as a finalist for Alister and Paine’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year and is South Iceland Adventure’s Global Ambassador to Climate Unchange. His personal mission is to inspire young people to use technology to create opportunity and become leaders. Wilson is also a contributor at The Huffington Post and has keynoted to groups of over 1,000.
Deborah Oster Pannell, Interviewer Under30CEO
Deborah Oster Pannell, a Smith College graduate, is a writer who specializes in the arts, innovative & socially responsible businesses and organizations, health & wellness and special events. Her blog, She Says Yes, features profiles and interviews with notable figures in the arts community including playwright/performer Deb Margolin, choregrapher Elizabeth Streb, and photographer Mel Rosenthal. For the last several years, she has been Director of Communications for the tech start-up eventwist, where she writes about great NYC spaces and the notable events taking place in them, at their blog. Some of her favorite work is featured on modernlifeblogs.com and lizkingevents.com, where she writes anecdotally about life, art and event production. She is currently preparing to launch Project Mavens, a content branding firm.
