It was one of the best speeches the school has seen in a long time. Matt brought a much needed bout of enthusiasm and passion to students interested in Entrepreneurship that has since sparked many student run businesses to be started. Thank you for visiting our campus Matt and I'm sure we will see you around soon!

Matt gave an AMAZING speech at Clarkson University about a year ago. Have you ever spoken at a high school? I would think that would be the ultimate challenge, getting the focus of mostly disinterested high school students going is hard for most but may be easy for you. Is your full talk going to be online?

Sounds awesome Matt. Have you ever spoken at a high school? Matt was gracious enough to drive all through the night in order to attend this event. He not only socialized before and after the event (not to mention during as he has an extremely interactive speaking style) but also went out for a dinner with a small group of students in the Beamcom School of Business's Entrepreneurship Team. Matt, you truly know how to get everybody involved and spark enough true motivation to make dreams come true. I know several more job opportunities have come my way since your presentation and I certainly don't expect them to stop. My only question now is: when are you coming back?

This was a great event for not only the University of South Dakota but also for the community of Vermillion, South Dakota. I wish I could see more, it looks like you did another terrific job. You owned the stage very Conan O'Brien style, no surprise there.

For those of you who have not had the opportunity to see Matt speak, I'd strongly encourage you to seek out his next event! Quick side note: Matt is a good guy. I cannot count how many times he has squeezed me into his scheduled to offer on-point advice and encouragement during the past 2 years. I owe much of my growing passion for social media and technology to Matt and his mentorship.

At Clarkson University's chapter of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization in northern NY, we had the pleasure of having Matt judge our first ever Elevator Pitch competition last spring. He kicked off the event with a motivating speech about following your passion.

He's got that "it" quality that only certain speakers ever master, that raw potential that draws everyone in. At Clarkson, he had us laughing and inspired almost simultaneously. He doesn't speak At the audience either, but rather (as you can see in his video above) has a conversation with the audience.

He is really great at relating with young aspiring leaders in the audience and capturing their attention. I, personally, can't wait to see Matt speak again and wish him the best of luck as he pursues his dreams and continues to help so many people.

Kindest regards,

X

Matt Wilson my good friend, good to see some videos of you speaking again! I really had a blast out in South Dakota. I really got a great sense of how important small business and entrepreneurship is to small town USA. The hardworking spirit of your community really inspired me. I've been wearing my deerskin work gloves everyday!

Hey John, thanks for the kind words. Your event made an Extraordinary impact on the students, faculty, and community surrounding the University of South Dakota. I had more fellow students than ever before come to me asking about business ideas and how they could start their own business. The Entrepreneurship Team has also reached new levels since your visit and you were able to spark enthusiasm within the group that I have never seen before in my 4 years at USD. We are currently planning a few big big events for the campus to enjoy this spring! Your small group meeting with the E-Team was also a highlight of the semester. Thanks again for your contribution to our University and hopefully we will be able to get you back on campus again soon!

Matt!
