Adjusting Group Combats Insurance Misconduct: A Business’ Approach to Industry Challenges

by / ⠀News / November 22, 2024

Public adjusting has become an important service for home and business owners with natural disasters like Hurricane Milton, which made landfall in October this year, and Hurricane Idalia, which caused significant public damage across parts of the southeast in late August 2023.

Established in 2011 by Bo and Heather Williamson, Noble Public Adjusting Group‘s mission has been to empower policyholders by ensuring they receive fair settlements and providing transparency throughout the insurance claims process, preventing individuals from being left astray.

Early Beginnings

Bo Williamson grew up in a low-income family and, from an early age, consistently sought ways to support his loved ones financially. He was committed to learning and growing in any industry he found himself in. Little did he know that these early lessons would provide him with the foundation to create the Noble Public Adjusting Group.

Bo started delivering papers at seven and worked on Atlanta’s railroad at twelve. These early encounters gave him a strong work ethic and allowed him to provide for his family. After high school, he joined the Marines while pursuing a business degree at Jacksonville State University and managing various ventures. Bo and his wife Heather traveled across the country, honing their skills in construction, insurance, and estimating.

A Business Model Built on Integrity, Technology, and Community Engagement

Noble Public Adjusting Group was inspired by Bo’s observations of systemic and consistent injustices in the insurance claims process. He witnessed individuals and families becoming overwhelmed, taken advantage of, and undercut by insurance firms, inspiring him to start a company dedicated to being a steadfast defender of policyholders.

Bo wanted to ensure these people received the money they were due so they could rebuild their lives after devastating times. Whether dealing with the mopping-up operations of large disasters or smaller incidents like a burst pipe, Noble Public Adjusting Group handles these claims with equal dedication.

Industry Challenges

Navigating the insurance industry as it has changed over the years has been a central challenge for many in the industry. With policies becoming even more complicated and claims processes requiring more hurdles to jump, high-quality public adjusting has become more important than ever. Because of these constant changes, educating the public about the invaluable role of public adjusters has been very important.

Bo has made sure that Noble Public Adjusting Group prioritizes tangible results while delivering exceptional service and consistently demonstrating integrity by actively engaging in public education efforts and fostering trust through transparent practices.

Promoting Client and Community Education

Noble Public Adjusting Group’s influence goes beyond assisting with insurance claims. They offer valuable education and resources to the public, empowering individuals to understand their insurance rights. This past week, alongside Buckhead Roofing, Noble Public Adjusting Group hosted a free hail storm recovery town hall Q&A in Rock Hill, South Carolina, dedicated to helping those affected by the hail storm that hit the area in April that wreaked havoc for many homes and businesses

During the provided dinner, a panel of experts answered questions from the crowd and shared free advice, along with resources on the insurance claim process, damage assessment, repair options, and more.

Using Technology to Streamline the Claims Process

As with many industries, technology is playing an increasing role in insurance adjusting to streamline workflows. Noble Public Adjusting Group leverages its expertise, technology, data analytics, and a strong commitment to ethical standards to stand up against insurance giants. This technological adoption allows them to deliver faster, more accurate assessments, ensuring policyholders receive timely compensation for damages.

Corporate Social Responsibility and Noble’s Commitment to Community

Beyond its business, Noble Public Adjusting Group aims to have a positive impact on the communities it serves. The Tallahassee Democrat highlighted that during Hurricane Idalia, the firm made an effort to bring aid and supplies to those in need.

After the hurricane, the firm organized a free autumn festival for those who live in Perry, Florida, with food trucks, games, prizes, music, and activities. The aim of the day was to give the locals of Perry some much-needed fun and a chance to relax. Noble Public Adjusting Group believes that putting on events like this not only helps in the recovery of communities but also shows that they are a firm that genuinely cares about its clients.

Additional Accolades and the Future

Noble Public Adjusting Group has been featured on the reality TV show “Insurance Wars,” a program that shows the many conflicts between insurance companies and independent adjusters. Noble is known for its successful claims handling following major storms and was recognized as “Business of the Year” by the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce. Noble has also recovered over $1 billion for its clients.
