Aadil founded Urban Vibe Radio as the result of his upbringing in the big city and the reverberations of his long-held passion for sound engineering. He’s always enjoyed listening to the radio, especially its ability to communicate ideas to millions of people at once through the airwaves. That admiration, mixed with a natural-born gift for technology, paved the path for his eventual rise in the world of radio and production.
Urban Vibe Radio is excited to announce the coming launch of two proprietary apps: the Urban Vibe App and Urban Vibe TV. The Urban Vibe App is built for users to access past livestream recordings and keep track of radio shows through push notifications. Working in tandem with the former, Urban Vibe TV will allow fans to watch their favorite talk shows and podcasts through immersive and well-produced videos. The apps aim to make their content more accessible and enhance the listening experience through visual accompaniment. This two-part expansion of the brand is the next step in breaking the barriers of radio and creating a space for featured artists to build a loyal fan base from the ground up.
Established during the emergence of a global pandemic, inflation, and other staggering crises, Urban Vibe Radio has survived and thrived despite the lack of external investors and sponsors. That’s because of the studio’s model of independence and embracing technology. Urban Vibe employs eight AI workers, each responsible for a different side of the business— from customer service to audio editing— which allows Aadil to maintain full autonomy over its operations. This approach has allowed the platform to soar to new heights, such as the addition of Lil Sean, a DJ who is prolific in his collaborations with A-list artists, to the station’s team as Program Director.
