Stacie Selise Is Redefining Leadership for a New Generation

by / ⠀Featured / April 23, 2025

As a Black woman in corporate America, Stacie Selise often had to prove herself while navigating spaces that were not designed for her. With obstacles present wherever she went, she had to learn to break barriers early on when beginning her career as a retail customer service representative and climb the corporate ladder.

Stacie Selise

From New York City to Corporate Leadership

Stacie began as a retail customer service representative in Westbury, New York, on the sales floor. This role eventually led her to become a Vice President, spanning a 13-year career. Stacie worked in various regions, overseeing large-scale sales operations and leading teams of thousands, all while building cultures rooted in performance, accountability, and care during this time.

“I bring a rare combination of boardroom credibility, lived experience, and cultural relevance,” Stacie says. “I don’t just talk leadership. I’ve lived it at some of the highest levels and now teach others how to lead with both power and authenticity.”

Stacie’s fifteen-plus years in corporate leadership would eventually allow her to build her leadership consultant business, where she is an executive coach for her Stacie Selise brand.

Supporting Diverse Leaders

Stacie’s experience in the corporate world inspired her to create something bigger than herself. She understood that she could take everything she’d learned and build a platform that empowers others to define success on their terms and lead with excellence in the process.

“I saw a gap in how we develop, retain, and support diverse leaders,” Stacie explains.

This gap would lead to the creation of Stacie’s leadership consulting business, where she works to break ceilings, build legacies, and move with strategies that work. She uses her experience to help ambitious professionals step into their version of success through her speaking, coaching, and curated experiences.

“I [have] built powerful teams, exceeded performance targets, and created a people-first culture that outlasted me,” Stacie shares. “In entrepreneurship, the challenge has been starting from scratch, but my resilience and reputation have opened doors quickly.”

Why Choose Stacie Selise?

Along with her first-hand experience in the corporate world, Stacie has been promoted multiple times within a Fortune 20 company, where she reached executive-level leadership before the age of 35.

She has also led one of the highest-performing regions nationally in customer experience and sales. Stacie has also spoken and participated in panels at national leadership conferences and empowerment events.

Stacie isn’t stopping at speaking engagements, however. She plans to host live retreats and experiences, build a network of professionals who transform their leadership, and even release a book.

“My voice and presence matter just as much as my credentials,” Stacie adds. “I’m not just here to build a business. I’m building a legacy for the next generation of leaders, especially women, to walk into rooms they were once shut out of and own their power.”

Stacie wants entrepreneurs and business owners to know they can take their goals to the next level. With her guidance, she aims to shape inclusive cultures and mentor the next generation of leaders.
