This past week Under30CEO’s community of ambitious young people embarked on a new journey– our inaugural GREEN Business Tour Costa Rica. As part of our new Under30Experiences travel brand, our 14 handpicked attendees embarked on a whirlwind tour of clean technology, sustainability, and real estate across the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica.
Highlights included: a zipline canopy tour in the rainforest, a candid conversation with Witch’s Rock Surf Camp Founder and hotelier Joe Walsh, a gourmet luncheon at the Palms Costa Rica real estate development project, local salsa dancing, and a sunset cruise on a 50′ Hatteras Sportsfishing yacht full of entrepreneurs.
The trip was designed to give attendees an entirely new perspective on life and business, taking them out of their busy entrepreneurial lives for full immersion into Costa Rican paradise. Visiting expatriates doing business in Time Magazine’s Happiest Country in the World, conversing with people living completely off the energy grid and living organic, sustainable lifestyles, opened up their minds to an entirely new type of experience.
A huge thank you goes out to all our attendees, our partners at The GREEN Program for making this an unforgettable experience in an incredible part of the world. It was truly an inspiration to see such ambitious young people inspired to come home and do big things.
Special congratulations to Nick Tart Founder of 14Clicks and JuniorBiz, winner of a 4 night stay at The Palms Costa Rica luxury oceanfront property.
Stay tuned as we officially announce the dates for our next Under30Experience: Microfinance Surf Camp Nicaragua this Thursday on Under30CEO.com.
