What is one app every young entrepreneur should use to stay accountable to their goals this year?
The following answers are provided by the Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC) is an invite-only organization comprised of the world’s most promising young entrepreneurs. In partnership with Citi, YEC recently launched StartupCollective, a free virtual mentorship program that helps millions of entrepreneurs start and grow businesses.
1. Lift
Lift will help you stay on track with your goals on a day-to-day basis and help you achieve them.
– Josh Weiss, Bluegala
2. Chains.cc
I love Chains.cc. It’s an app that lets you track if you accomplish your goals each day or not. For example, I have recently started a meditation practice and use Chains.cc to track each day I am successful. The goal is to not break the chain once you start it, and it works!
– Patrick Conley, Automation Heroes
3. 42goals
You can use 42goals to create and track your goals and even share them with friends to help you stay on track and accountable.
– Andrew Schrage, Money Crashers Personal Finance
4. Any.do
Any.do is a solid way to list your goals in terms of “to do.” If you check the app every day, it’s a good way to remember which goals you must accomplish.
– Ben Lang, Mapped In Israel
5. Asana
To achieve your goals, you must get your projects and tasks organized and communicate with team members effectively and efficiently. We recently switched over to Asana for our project management software. Asana’s slogan is “Teamwork without email.” I’m finding that it actually lives up to the promise. We’re getting more done and wasting less time on email.
– Pete Kennedy, Main Street ROI
6. RescueTime
An easy way to stay on task on the computer is by using RescueTime. It lets you passively track how you spend your time on the computer, and you can use the app to categorize software and webpages to see the breakdown of how you spend your time. Set goals at the start of the year for computer work, and then keep an eye on your progress.
– Doreen Bloch, Poshly Inc.
7. Full
Download the Full app. It helps you track and measure any monthly goal in a simple way that is very visual. It’s great for helping you form good habits and hold yourself accountable to your goals.
– John Hall, Influence & Co.
8. Inbox Zero
I love Inbox Zero because it allows me to quickly move through emails and assign them to myself in one swipe. It also prompts me to take specific actions when I need to. This helps me achieve goals by prompting me with information or timelines.
– Tynesia Boyea-Robinson, Reliance Methods
