The non-profit organization Warrior Rising is set to launch its Service-Disabled Veteran Entrepreneurs (SDVET) course online on June 13, 2024. Founded by veterans in 2015, Warrior Rising supports veterans in their entrepreneurial pursuits and is committed to facilitating their long-term financial stability.
The SDVET course, a comprehensive curriculum covering business aspects, from business model definition to market dynamics understanding, aims to empower veterans to establish stable businesses and create employment opportunities. By moving online, it hopes to lift geographical constraints and reach all registered veterans.
Besides the SDVET course, Warrior Rising also continuously supports veterans through networking opportunities, mentorship programs, and business-building workshops. These collectively aim to fuel veterans’ entrepreneurial spirits.
In today’s economic environment, the need for such programs is more pressing than ever. Warrior Rising’s vision to convert military spirit into flourishing businesses can positively impact many lives.
Anticipated participants of the SDVET program can look forward to a wealth of information from industry experts and real-life experiences shared by fellow veterans. This combination of knowledge exchange aims to inspire and motivate the participants to get a step closer to their entrepreneurial dreams.
The free-of-charge SDVET Program is backed by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
