Gurugram tech startup Zyod has successfully raised $18 million in its latest funding round. The new funding will be used to expand its tech-supervised fashion production to more than 40 countries, providing a boost to India’s local manufacturing industry.

Zyod has built sustainable partnerships with local manufacturers, utilizing its proprietary Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. The focus is on producing eco-friendly clothes for globally recognized fashion brands. Through on-demand production and innovative technologies, they aim to reduce waste while ensuring energy efficiency.

The co-founder of Zyod, Ankit Jaipuria, has acknowledged India’s wealth of under-utilized factory potential. By integrating their ERP software into these facilities, he believes the flow of data between departments can be optimized, increasing their productivity significantly.

Zyod, founded in 2023, currently serves over 550 clients in 18 countries. Initially offering support to direct-to-consumer brands, they have expanded their scope to include a wide range of services in digital marketing, application development, data analytics and business strategy planning.

Expanding Zyod’s eco-friendly fashion reach

Their clientele comprises emerging startups and well-established corporations alike.

The tech startup launched a mobile app earlier this year, which has garnered considerable positive feedback. Features like style selection and order tracking have been particularly praised. Future updates are planned to include live chat windows, further improving user experience and streamlined communication.

The recent funding round, led by RTP Global, has resulted in a significant capital raise. This will be used to facilitate Zyod’s market expansion into countries like Brazil, Australia, under-served African nations and the Scandinavian region in Europe.

Ambitious plans are afoot for Zyod, as it looks to considerably broaden its product catalog. It hopes to augment its fashion trend prediction capabilities and merge its software with traditional tailoring machinery to streamline the production process and eliminate human errors.

Zyod also envisages a future where it can deliver a more personalized shopping experience to its clients. A forthcoming AI system is set to predict customer preferences based on their shopping history, enhancing their overall satisfaction. A planned update to their digital platform, including a virtual try-on feature, is set to further revolutionize the online fashion retail sector.

With its innovative approach and endeavors, Zyod is set to not only stay ahead of the curve in the fashion industry but also to drive its digital future.
