The E.P.I.C. App™ Empowers Individuals to Triumph Over Life’s Obstacles

Life’s Obstacles

A timeless proverb says, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.” This saying of taking action instead of succumbing to despair might be exemplified by some. However, for others, hardship can be difficult to overcome. Annette and Matthew Hutcheson introduced The E.P.I.C. App™ in September 2024 to provide individuals with the skills and tools to change their perspectives and nurture their minds and souls. This mobile app that combines state-of-the-art technology with the human mind’s mysteries allows one to defeat anything and triumph over everything.

The founders champion a philosophy that revolves around persevering through adversity by using the mind’s power. They integrate this philosophy into The E.P.I.C. App™’s pillars of ethos, perspective, influence, and carrying on. This innovative app is a valuable tool for those who want to obtain holistic support, practice positive sleeping habits, receive neuroscientific guidance, or develop their approach from fight-or-flight to mindful decision-making.

Matthew and Annette’s experiences motivated them to create The E.P.I.C. App™. Matthew’s professional career was thriving, assuming the role of advisor to two Presidents, when he was arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation at gunpoint and wrongfully imprisoned. Annette, his wife, was devastated. She didn’t let devastation win, however, as she got her beloved husband out of prison seven years before his sentence was over, leveraging her knowledge as a law school graduate.

The husband and wife went through isolated experiences tangled in the same story. Matthew had to come to terms with solitude and power through the injustice he underwent in prison. Solitary confinement can easily take away one’s sense of sanity, but the resilient man ensured to strengthen his mindset, reminding himself of his true identity. Annette, on the other hand, showed what determination can do when things are seemingly out of reach. The two fought hard to triumph over a decade of wrongful imprisonment.

The Hutchensons decided to integrate the lessons they learned from this time of turmoil and adversity to shape the E.P.I.C. Leadership Training—their impactful leadership services. They designed the courses to empower participants to build resilience and remain true to their values, never letting hindrances cloud their judgment. The E.P.I.C. App™ was an extension of this initiative of enriching humanity through a combination of mindfulness, science, and technology.

The app’s easy-to-use interface appeals to users, as it makes the multiple sections with different aspects easier to navigate. Users can expect to learn more about Matthew and Annette’s story from the app’s introduction. There’s also daily inspirational content and a segment for assessing the parasympathetic nervous system, also called the E.P.I.C. Parasym. With these features, individuals can motivate themselves to turn negativity into positivity.

Matthew remarks, “What we want people to know is that they can train their mindset to focus on positivity regardless of what they’re going through. The E.P.I.C. App™ has an important role in empowering people to do this. It has the potential to help those suffering achieve happiness. We developed this app for people of all ages and life paths, hoping everyone can embrace their fears and turn them into valuable lessons.”
