Doctor Dismisses

President Biden’s doctor has released findings from a detailed neurological exam, dismissing concerns about the president’s health and speculation that he may have Parkinson’s disease. The exam showed no symptoms of Parkinson’s or other neurological disorders despite reports that a specialist had visited the president several times in the past year. The concerns about President Biden’s health intensified following his debate performance with Donald Trump, which some Democrats described as a “disaster” and a “meltdown.” White House visitor logs indicated that Dr.

Kevin Cannard, a neurologist specializing in movement disorders, visited the White House eight times through the spring of this year. In response, President Biden’s personal doctor, Kevin O’Connor, released a letter stating, “President Biden has not seen a neurologist outside of his annual physical. The results of this year’s exam were detailed in my 28 February letter: ‘An extremely detailed neurological exam was again reassuring in that there were no findings which would be consistent with any cerebellar or other central neurological disorder, such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s…'”

The White House clarified that Dr.

Cannard, as a Neurology Consultant to the White House, treats numerous individuals at the White House Medical Clinic, which supports thousands of active-duty members assigned to White House operations.

Doctor reassures on Biden’s health

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed that the president had seen a neurologist three times for his annual physical exams.

Despite the speculation, President Biden has pledged to remain committed to his re-election campaign. Some of Biden’s political allies, including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and US Representative Adam Smith, have called on Mr. Biden to drop out of the presidential race.

In a letter to Democrats in Congress, President Biden stated he is “firmly committed” to his re-election campaign and vowed to continue his contest against Donald Trump. In an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News, Trump remarked, “He’s got an ego, and he doesn’t want to quit. It just looks to me like that’s what he wants.”
