Cetera Financial Group recently announced the appointment of Jerry Patterson, a former executive at Fidelity, as the head of advanced wealth solutions. Patterson’s role will include spearheading the development of Cetera’s retirement services, life insurance, and annuity products.
Prior to this role, Patterson served as president at Fidelity Investments Life Insurance Company, where he successfully integrated insurance into the company’s solutions for advisors and RIA network partners. With a career spanning 20 years at Principal Financial Group, his experiences in managing various departments and implementing efficiency strategies greatly benefitted the firm’s growth.
Patterson will operate from Cetera’s office in Des Moines, Iowa. He will be responsible for essential operations, overseeing key projects, and coordinating with other branches to ensure smooth execution of tasks.
