If you are in or around the NYC area (or just travel to it often) we invite you to join our Under30CEONYC Meetup Group. Back in January we started hosting events in New York City for young entrepreneurs because we wanted to meet and hangout with more of our readers. We have already had some great events with 40+ young entrepreneurs from NYC coming out to network and socialize.
What are you looking for…
At each event we open the floor up and let everyone have a chance to get up and make a 30 second announcement to the group. Often we hear young businesses looking for things like web designers, people to interview or offering promotions to the crowd like a young accounting startup that offered attendees half off their taxes or another young entrepreneur who had open desks at his midtown office and offered for people to come by to do work and hangout.
Keeping it Casual
Our events are very casual and we focus on creating that environment where everyone is comfortable talking not only about business but actually getting to know each other as friends. It’s amazing to meet and see what other young people are doing in the area and we are always impressed with some of the stories that are told at each event.
The events are usual in a private room at a bar or lounge so we are always working out drink specials for the group. But you do not have to be 21 to attend! (usually…we’ll put it in the specific event description if you do)

So if you’re interested in meeting some great young people, having a few drinks and making some connections for your business follow our meet-ups to hear about upcoming events. We have at least 1 event each month sometimes even two. Even if you don’t have a business yet feel free to come by to start making those crucial connections and to meet and hear about other young people who just started.
