The Kansas City Chamber has announced the top 10 finalists for the 2024 Small Business of the Year award, sponsored by UMB Bank. These contenders illustrate the economic vitality and diverse entrepreneurial landscape of the region, particularly with their groundbreaking approaches, remarkable performance, and community commitments during challenging periods.
The Small Business of the Year award winner will be announced at a grand gala later this year. The event serves not only to honor the impressive achievements and crucial contributions of small businesses to Kansas City but also to share joy and anticipation for those nominated.
The nomination comprised of 60 businesses showcasing their distinct abilities and commitment. The contenders exhibited considerable innovation and dedication, keeping the entrepreneurial spirit thriving in Greater Kansas City. The contenders represent the best of Kansas City’s flourishing business community, illustrating the city’s future economic potential.
The shortlisted businesses belong to a wide range of sectors, including tech and marketing agencies, HVAC and plumbing service contractors.
Unveiling Kansas City’s small business finalists
Standout names include Blue Symphony, DMC Service, Inc., and Overflow. These companies have demonstrated their productivity and expertise in their respective industries, earning their rightful place among the finalists.
The list of finalists extends to include Perfect Promotions, Quantum Resource Professionals, and SnapIT Solutions, all providing specialized services in their respective fields. Unique and innovative approaches set these contestants apart from the competition.
Finalists also include Stellar Image Studios, Taliaferro & Browne, The Next Paige Agency, and Walz Tetrick Advertising. Each of these businesses carries unique contributions, further enriching the diversity and inclusivity of the group.
