Early Life
Lil Nas X was born Montero Lamar on April 9th, 1999. When he was six, his parents divorced. He then lived in the housing projects of Bankhead Courts with his mother and grandmother and later moved in with his father. He played trumpet starting in the fourth grade but stopped in junior high. Because he thought playing the instrument would make him look not cool.
