A successful, visionary company starts at the top. This year, Chad Richison, Paycom founder, CEO, and chairman, was ranked number 9 in Comparably’s list of Best CEOs. This list was determined by employee sentiment.
Since founding Paycom in 1998, Richison has revolutionized the HR and payroll industries by solving inefficiencies with technology. The software automates aspects of critical HR functions such as payroll, time-off management, and more, simplifying businesses and the lives of their workforce.
Richison’s leadership has earned Paycom praise for its cutting-edge solutions, strong work culture, and focus on diversity. Comparably Awards
Paycom topped this year’s Best Companies for Compensation rankings and Best Company Culture as the No. 1 large company in both categories. These awards are based on sentiment feedback from current staff who anonymously rated their employers on Comparably’s website during 12 months.
The criteria defining Best Companies for Compensation were overall satisfaction with the compensation package (salary, raises, bonuses, stock/equity, and benefits). Paycom offers competitive compensation and generous benefits, including:

“Awards like these are especially impactful to Paycom because the recognition is based solely on feedback from our current employees,” Richison said.

This process involved an analysis of companies with more than 1,000 workers interviewing HR professionals, reviewing publicly available data, and conducting an anonymous online survey.
