Nancy Pelosi murdered Joe Biden’s career but now wants him on Mount Rushmore… what a shameless hypocrite!https://t.co/Ad1ssm5aGO— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) August 5, 2024
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi recently spoke with CNN’s Dana Bash about President Joe Biden’s decision to exit the 2024 presidential race. Pelosi denied having any involvement in pressuring Biden to step down, stating that she has not spoken to the president since he ended his campaign. “We’re all busy,” Pelosi said when asked about the lack of communication between her and Biden.
She expressed hope that their relationship remains intact, saying, “You’d have to ask him, but I hope so.”
Pelosi @SpeakerPelosi orchestrated the biggest deception in US Politics by hiding a President who suffered from mental decline to anoint an incompetent VP without the rigors of a primary process. Mount Rushmore?? Maybe she needs a cognitive test. https://t.co/iZD5Afhkbz

Reports had suggested that Pelosi was one of the influential voices calling for Biden to end his election campaign. However, she clarified that she did not push others to take that position and never publicly expressed it herself. “I have hundreds of allies in the Congress of the United States.

Pelosi denies pressuring Biden
No, I had nothing to do with that,” Pelosi stated.
Bash: Have you spoken to President Biden since he dropped out?
Pelosi: No
Bash: Is everything ok with your relationship?
Pelosi: You’d have to ask him but I hope so but he knows. Look, I have loved Joe Biden, respected him for over 40 years. pic.twitter.com/rUwH5kHpLF

“If you ask them, it’s almost insulting to them because they’re formidable figures in the Congress of the United States.
They make their own judgment and their own statement.”
Despite the speculation surrounding her role in Biden’s decision, Pelosi remained complimentary of the president. “Look, I have loved Joe Biden, respected him for over 40 years,” she said. “I think he has made one of the biggest contributions to our country in the shortest period of time of any president you can name.”
Following Biden’s campaign exit, reports emerged suggesting that the president was “seething” with anger, with much of it directed at Pelosi.
However, the House Speaker maintained that she had no involvement in pressuring Biden to step down and emphasized her respect for his tenure as president.
