Global Delivery

In 2004, Chairman Dr. Abdelwahed Soliman founded Galina, one of the leading IQF (Individual Quick Freezing) fruit and vegetable manufacturers in Egypt. Over the years, the company grew from a small family business of 50 employees to a fully-fledged operation with nearly 500 staff members. Now, led by the founder’s son, Mohamed A. Soliman, Galina is continuing its mission of producing and processing frozen produce, exporting it across the US, Europe, Asia, and Canada.

Central to Galina’s ethos is the belief that quality, price, and values should never be compromised. By leveraging modern-day technology and state-of-the-art processing plants with top-notch quality assurance measures, the company can deliver products all year round, meeting the needs of businesses and consumers regardless of circumstances. That dedication to exceeding expectations is what helped Galina engrave its name onto the agriculture history books, gaining immense recognition in the industry.

In 2019, dedicated to maintaining the highest standard of quality and continuously improving, Galina started a significant restructuring process. From upgrading facilities, introducing automation, and increasing efficiency, the company showcased a commitment to adjusting to the ever-changing industry demands and client needs. For Galina, that move symbolized a pivotal shift toward a more streamlined future. By increasing the facility’s capacity, the company consequently grew storage space and escalated production, enabling Galina to pre-plan for shipment and alleviate the difficulties of potential delays.

Client satisfaction and quality are paramount and engraved in the company’s DNA. “The philosophy behind Galina is to have the ability to present a product at a competitive price without compromising on its value,” adds Mohamed Soliman. “We have worked with many markets globally, we know how high the quality requirements are, and we always strive to meet them.”

In 2025, Galina is planning another expansion; this time—a geographical one. Currently entrenched across over 40 nations, the firm’s short-term strategy revolves around reaching the depths of the European market. By leveraging its location in the Netherlands, Galina will expand to neighboring countries and beyond.

Galina, a leading IQF fruit and vegetable manufacturer, has made it its mission to innovate and set industry standards. Soliman adds, “We have always been value-driven. That mindset motivated us to improve, elevate, and enhance, all in pursuit of a high-quality product delivered globally at a competitive price.”
