Rothschild & Co opens Dubai wealth management office

Rothschild & Co has opened a new wealth management office in Dubai. The office will provide investment advice to ultra-high-net-worth families, businesses, charities, and foundations. The Dubai office is located in the Dubai International Finance Centre (DIFC).

It is led by senior banker Sascha Benz, who moved from Switzerland. The office will work with an experienced Middle East team based in Geneva. The new office is part of Rothschild & Co’s wealth management expansion strategy.

The firm aims to use its strong network and reputation in the region.

Rothschild & Co expands in Dubai

Rothschild & Co’s Global Consulting division has been active in the Middle East for over 20 years.

It offers M&A, Debt Advisory and Restructuring, and Equity Advisory services to clients. Laurent Gagnebin, CEO of Rothschild & Co’s Wealth Management business in Switzerland, said: “As our Wealth Management business continues to grow substantially, we are excited to be able to strengthen our presence in the Middle East with our new office in Dubai. With Sascha’s experience and existing broad network of qualified clients among local investors, business owners, and wealthy local and international families, we are confident of growing a strong Wealth Management client base in the region.”

The opening of the new office in Dubai is part of Rothschild & Co’s plan to improve its services and deepen its client relationships in the Middle East.
