Monetize Your BlogDo you own a business? Are you looking for a way to make some extra money on the side? If you answered yes to either question, blogging may be the answer. Blogging, which is the process of creating posts for the public to read and respond to, has become more than just a hobby in today’s economic climate. With the right blog topic, frequent posts, and information on how to earn money blogging, you can turn something as basic as the Domo blog, where everything is Domo related, into a source of revenue.

Advertise a Product or Service

If you own a business, you may want to consider blogging to promote the products and services you offer. By doing this, you can connect with your audience, establish yourself as an authority, and educate the crowd without sounding like you are pitching a sale.

Get a Company Sponsorship

If you are a blogger and you want to earn some extra cash, find a company that is willing to sponsor you and focus on blogging about the company’s products.

Freelance

Companies often do business with freelance writers whenever they need content written for their blogs. Believe it or not, most business owners do not write their own entries. If you are a talented writer, consider freelancing.

Get Hired and Telecommute

If you want to be a salaried employee, some companies will hire writers to write marketing content and blog content. You need to have experience with blogging and understand the fundamentals of marketing to apply.

Selling eBooks Through Your Blog

You have probably been directed to one of these blogs in the past. If you have a passion for World of Warcraft, you might want to try to sell intellectual property through your related blog. The strategy guide is popular and you will earn commission off of each sale directed from your blog.

Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is part of the pay-per-click advertising program. With this type of program, you generate traffic through your blog and encourage visitors to click-through and buy a product. You may be paid per sale or per click.

Ads on Your Page

If you have an optimized blog with a lot of visitors, you can put ads from Google or other advertising programs on your page and make money for providing advertising space.

As you can see, blogging is much more than a hobby. By blogging about your hobby or something you are passionate about, you can make a great deal of money and do something you enjoy doing.
