JD Vance slammed Vice President Kamala Harris at a rally in St. Cloud, Minnesota, for questioning his loyalty to the United States.

Harris had released a campaign ad earlier this month, suggesting Vance would be “loyal only to Trump, not to our country.”

Vance, a Marine Corps veteran and small business owner, defended his record and criticized Harris’s handling of the southern border.
“I served in the United States Marine Corps. I went to Iraq for this country. I built a business for this country.
Self-reinvention is very, very American. (Think "Gatsby.") By the same token, name-changing is too. It runs all through our history. https://t.co/P8yRlaKwZO

Vance defends loyalty at rally
And my running mate took a bullet for this country,” Vance said. He then asked, “So my question to Kamala Harris is, what the hell have you done to question our loyalty to the United States of America?”
Vance urged the crowd to send a message to the media, Harris, and hardworking patriots across the country, stating, “We are ready to have President Donald J.
Trump back, and we’re going to work our tails off to make sure it happens.”
The tension arose after Trump announced Vance as his running mate during the Republican National Convention earlier this month. Harris’s ad accused Vance of being a lackey who would “be a rubber stamp for [Trump’s] extreme agenda.”
As of now, Harris, who was endorsed by President Biden after he decided not to seek re-election, has not announced her candidacy for the presidency nor chosen her own running mate. A recent poll shows Trump with 46% support in Minnesota, while Harris has 52%.
Vance and Trump are scheduled to hold another campaign rally on Tuesday in Henderson, Nevada.
